Modular furniture is very appealing to designers. The better systems can be rearranged for different uses, and stacked more efficiently.
There are rolling, folding and draw down systems out there. One of the reasons why they may not have taken off is that they are heavy and hard to maneuver. They are also susceptible to breakage, if the user is not used to operating them.
A slightly more failsafe system that uses memory foam is the Multiplo range. It can be arranged to almost any use including the following:
- Childrens play table
- Sofa
- Low seat lounge
- Bed
- Ottoman
- Side table
- Arm chair
Its particularly suited to small spaces, and adds a bit of style and functionality. They are a quality addition to any home. The original company Multiplo doesn’t seem to offer this product currently, and so am on the lookout for whoever can recreate the system.
